One Nine Mercantile was started through a simple idea of wanting to find ways to use recycled materials from the Design industry to create products that gave back to those in need. It is one of the two sister companies to One Nine Architecture.

One Nine Architecture takes recycled goods donated to them, re-purposes them through One Nine Mercantile and in turn are able to raise funds for One Nine for Humanity to give back to those in need.

Mercantile’s greatest purpose is to give bedroom makeovers to children in need. A percentage of every sale goes towards this cause. With so many kids at home and adapting to a new way of life, they recognized a need to create an environment that would allow kids to thrive. In addition to the bedroom makeovers, One Nine for Humanity also mentors, counsels, and works with each child on next steps as they determine what path they would like to take in their career.

Together, all three companies work to help support those in need.
